• There is one ring, motion sensor camera at the front door.
• This is for security purposes and to monitor our cleaning/ maintenance services.
• The camera captures activity on the front porch and down the driveway to the front gate.TV:
• There is one Amazon Fire Smart TV in the living room
o You may use apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc. by logging in with your personal login.
Please make sure to log out of personal accounts after your stay.Heaters:
• There is one thermostat located in the hallway outside the second bedroom.
o This thermostat controls the furnace and is the primary heating source for the house.
o During the winter months, the thermostat will be preset to Auto and Heat settings with the temperature set to 60 degrees while the house is vacant.
o You can use the up and down arrows to adjust the temperature setting to a comfortable level.
o Please set the thermostat to 60 degrees when you are leaving the house for an extended period of time or at the end of your stay.
• There is one space heater in the bedroom near the kitchen
o This room is an addition and not connected to the furnace. We have found the space heater to be very efficient at heating this room.
o You can set it to a comfortable temperature and it will turn off and on automatically to maintain that temperature.
o If you are leaving the house, please turn the space heater off.
• The pellet stove is available for use in the living room.
o Warning: The pellet stove must be monitored when in use.
o The stove is very efficient at heating the living room, this unfortunately will turn off the furnace and it may get too cold in the bedrooms.
o To use:
Press the power button to turn the stove on/ off.
You can select manual mode or thermostat mode by pressing the M/T button.
In Manual mode you can control the blower by using the up and down arrows.
In Thermostat mode you can select your temperature by using the up and down arrows
Be sure to open the dampener when starting the stove. The dampener is located on the back of the stove below the exhaust pipe. The open position is toward the front door. The closed position is toward the tv.
Be sure to close the dampener when you turn off the stove.
If you are leaving the house, please turn the stove off.Kitchen Supplies:
• The kitchen is stocked with several appliances and utensils necessary to cook meals.
• Most appliances and cookware can be found in the cabinets opposite of the refrigerator.
• Silverware and cooking utensils can be found in the drawers between the refridgerator and the stove.
• Spare paper towels can be found in the cabinets below the sinkExtra Sheets
• There are extra sheets for each bed in their respective closets (or under the bench in the third bedroom). These sheets are in bags that are ziptied shut so that we know whether they are clean or have been used.
• These extra sheets are available for a $15 fee per opened bag.Bathroom Supplies:
• Extra towels can be found under the sink in the master bath.
• Extra toilet paper can be found under the sink in each bathroom.
Extra Cleaning Supplies:
• Vacuum, broom, and duster can be found in the master bedroom closet.
• Other cleaning supplies including Clorox wipes, multi surface cleaner, etc. can be found under the sink in the kitchen.Fire Pit:
• The fire pit is located in the backyard and is available for your use as long as there is not a fire ban in effect.
• Please exercise caution and keep fires small in size and do not start a fire when it is excessively windy.
• Fires are not allowed anywhere else besides the fire pit.
• There is some spare firewood under the awning of the shed near the chicken coop that you are welcome to use during your stay.
• There are matches and fire starter cubes in a zip lock bag in the bottom drawer between the stove and refrigerator.
• Make sure fires are under constant supervision and are put dead out when finished.
• There is a frost free water hydrant and a hose near where the firewood is stored.Horseshoes:
• The horseshoe pit is, of course, available for your use during your stay. Horseshoes are stored on the front porch.
ANIMALS
All of our animals are set up with feeders and water that just needs to be checked on twice a week. We will make every effort to check on the animals in between guests. If we are unable to do so, we will be by on Mondays and Thursdays in the evenings to check on the animals and to make sure they have plenty of food and water. If you have any concerns about the animals please reach out to us immediately.• Alpacas
o Like all alpacas, our alpacas are known to spit from time to time and may kick if provoked. For your safety, guests are not allowed in the alpaca’s field.
o Please admire our alpacas from a distance.
o Please do not feed the alpacas.
o See the next page for the names of our Alpacas.• Chickens
o We do have laying hens and a couple roosters in the chicken coop.
o All are friendly but do not like to be picked up.
o Please help yourself to any eggs you find in the coop.
o You are welcome to feed the chickens your vegetable table scraps but are not obligated to do so.
o If a chicken does get out of the coop, you can leave the door open. Other chickens will get out but all will return to the coop around sunset. Please close the door once all chickens have returned.• Bees
o We do have one bee hive located a little uphill from the chicken coop behind the propane tank.
o If you are allergic to bees please keep your distance.
o Our bees help to pollinate our garden and the flowers around the property.
o Our bees are docile and we haven’t had anyone get stung. However, please admire our bees from a distance and do not attempt to open the hive.

HOUSE RULES
General:
• We ask that you please be respectful of our property. We have done our best to create a fun and inviting space for our guests!
• NO house parties allowed
• Smoking/ vaping is PROHIBITED inside. If you do smoke outside, please clean up after yourself. If smoking is detected by our cleaners, you may be liable to pay a $200 smoke ozone treatment fee.
• NO Pets. We do not allow pets at our property due to allergies of other guests and the likelihood that they won’t get along with our animals. If pets are discovered on the property without prior approval there will be a $200 fee assessed.
• As a part of the rental, our guests have access to the house, driveway, chicken coop, horseshoe pit and back yard. Please do not attempt to enter the locked outbuildings. Please stay within the fenced area. Guests are not allowed in the alpaca’s field or beyond any of the other fences. As a rule of thumb, if you have to open a gate or hop a fence then you’re not supposed to be there.
• Please remove makeup with provided makeup towels ONLY. We want our linens to remain clean and unsoiled.
• You will be held responsible for any damage incurred to the house and/ or furniture during your stay. Fees will be based on actual damages.
• If something breaks or is damaged, please reach out to us to let us know ASAP – it will help us address any issues quickly!Trash:
• Place all trash in the blue trash can located on the North side of the porch. The host will come by to take the trash to the edge of the driveway for pickup on Fridays.Furniture:

Check Out Time: 10 a.m.Please note:
Our cleaners are ONLY responsible for washing towels, linens, and surfaces. They are not responsible for any additional messes or damage incurred during your stay.
• Please remove linens and leave them on the beds
• Please place all used towels/ washcloths in the bathtub in the second bathroom. Don't worry about starting the laundry, our cleaners will take care of that.
• Check all drawers and closets for personal items – don’t forget your headphones or chargers!
• Make sure the TV remote is left on the TV stand where you found it. Be sure you log out of all apps that you put your personal information into.
• Please set the thermostat to 60 degrees.
• Check the refrigerator and kitchen cabinet for any perishable items and throw them away.
• Take out all trash to the blue trash bin located on the North end of the porch.
• Please clean up after yourself and put everything away that you used during your stay (kitchen supplies, board games, etc.)
• Load all dishes into the dishwasher and start the load.
o Hand wash any remaining dishes.
o Dishwasher pods are located under the sink. Please use the pots and pans and the heated dry settings.
• Ensure all lights are off and ALL doors are closed and the deadbolts are LOCKED. For the front door be sure to leave the door knob unlocked and press the lock button on the smart lock deadbolt as you leave.If there is anything that we can improve on, please reach out to us privately and mention those suggestions so we can address them for future guests!
